Burning Con is a weekend gathering for fans of Burning Wheel Headquarters' games: Burning Wheel, Burning Empires, Mouse Guard, Freemarket, Torchbearer, Miseries & Misfortunes and Inheritance.
After a ten year hiatus, we brought Burning Con back in 2023 using a retreat-style format to maximize chill vibes, game time and hangs. It's an intense, intimate, supportive and fun weekend of gaming in the beautiful Hudson Valley, just one hour north of NYC (accessible by Metro North).
This auspicious date celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the 1st Burning Con held on 05-05-05.
Full Con Weekend tickets are available for those who want to stay at the convention or Commuter tickets for those staying off-site. There is also an option to extend your stay at the retreat center on Thursday or Sunday night, if that makes traveling easier on you.
Single Day Tickets are also available for anyone wanting to drop in on the weekend. For the first time we’ll also be holding an “Apprentice Academy” session on Friday afternoon which will be beginner friendly.
To commemorate Burning Con’s 20th Anniversary, we have commissioned stunning artwork by Malleus Rock Art Lab. This artwork will be featured on premium t-shirts and screen-printed posters. You can choose to add these merch items to your ticket and they will be available for pick up at the convention.
