About Me
My name is Jonathan Slack. I was born in Canada, but spent much of my youth overseas in Africa, specifically Kenya and Ghana. It helped define the person I am today.
I took to role playing games at the tender age of 9 years old, when a friend of mine invited me to a game of D&D, run by his father. Over two decades later and I'm still going strong.
I came to Burning Wheel through the folks at the Forge. I love the game! The Frozen Vise came to a close.
I completed playing two phases of Burning Empires with my group, a campaign called Prometheus Chained. We've even been recording it!
Here is the game I ran set in the "Blosssoms are Falling" setting released in 2007. Moon of the Mountain Edge.

Heirs to the Throne is another game I ran.
Cornered Rats was a short 2 lifepath game I participated in. It was equal parts brutal and awesome.
I post on both the Forge and Burning Wheel Forums as "Glendower". This is after a memorable Welsh Vampire that made an appearance in one of my games.
I played the Young Elven Deputy - Emlin Menelbara in the game "Burning Maelstrom".
The last game I ran, City of Knaves. It features a group of criminals on the streets of Valencia, trying to claw their way to the easy life.
My D&D gaming group just finished moving our characters over to the Burning Wheel system. Clans and Codex has been a year long D&D game, and it borrowed heavily from Burning Wheel. Now, we have removed the last pieces of D&D, and are running it fully Burning Wheel!
