Mountains in Shadow

Mountains in Shadow is our Blossoms Are Falling game.
A remote village at the foot of a forested mountain. The spirits are troubled, angry but we do not yet know why. The monastery has something to do with it, and the local lord.
The PCs all frequent the local tea-house.
The PCs are:
- Yukiko the mountain witch and fallen shrine maiden;
- Ritsuko, the cunning bandit queen known as O-Yamako to the peasants, who masquerades as a serving girl at her uncle's tea house;
- The Captain Genji Riku in direct command of the village, promoted from the ranks but who knows little of ruling peasantry.
Bryce's tanka:
Mountains in shadow,
Silent in eternal shame.
Kami stir and rage
Against the impious monks.
Yet the blossoms are falling...
