Burning Zombies
From Burning Wiki
It happened 2 years ago. The world ended. Or at least as far as your little town can figure out it did. The dead stopped having the decency to be dead. They rose up. They destroyed everything. Or at least as far as you can tell they did to the rest of the world. Fortunatly for your small town the dead don't seem to like to cross moving water. Your small island town that used to make money from river tolls is all that's left. Fortunately you could feed yourselves mostly through the fish you caught and the small fields and gardens on the island.
It's the coldest fall anyone can remember. There's been a terrible illness going around. We've been struggling to keep people from dieing. We don't want to have to commit anymore bodies to the river. A couple days ago the river froze over. Everyones that's able has been out everyday breaking the ice up but how long can we keep it up? Everyday more people come down with the illness.
The local elders think this is the work of the foul Wizard Donatus. Perhaps if someone were to deal with him this plague would end.
